ok maybe the h balancer is bad but if it is, its because of a oil soak or be hard rev and sudden stop.in other words the rubber deteriorated because of contact with oil,obvious by swelling and pieces missing, or it has spun the balancer from the hub(misalignment) it shouldnt knock to speak of, just have a nasty vibration that kinda hunts with the revs, getting better and worse but never going away.timing light will verify slip, eyes will verify oil soak, intuition will verify a liar good luck.
