Because so much needs to be replaced I’m looking into changing it from a 350 to a 383. Ive also been looking into changing the heads out to some common used $200 Vortech heads that dont crack. The stock L48 heads are bad for cracking. I’ll have to change my manifold to use the more modern heads but I can resell mine on ebaY.
ouch, nasty scorching on the pistons too. New heads, thats gonna suck.
