This is a great book for the C5 owner. The information is honest and helpful. Corvette magazines give people a totally false picture about C5 performance. This book tells you what you can expect from a modification and how much your performance can be improved. This book can save you a bunch of money.
The instructions for each of the projects are very well laid out. If you have any mechanical ability at all you can take on just about every project in the book.
If you own a C5 you should get this book. It’ll help you decide what to do next with your C5. After all half the fun of owning a Corvette is playing with it.

Newton has written some outstanding Corvette books over the years. This book on the C5 continues that tradition. He gives us good honest advise about the things we can do to make our Corvette experiences enjoyable.
He’s always been honest and tells use the truth about parts and accessories for our Corvettes. Up until now we were dependant on the Corvette magazines for C5 information. Now we have this great book.If you have a C5 you need this book. It’s great.

Lots of information! If you just want to know more about your Corvette, or want to get your hands dirty and do some of the projects, it is a book I would recommend to any and all C5 owners. Many aspects are covered in pretty good depth, a very good information source. Again, highly recommended.

My car is new to me and I wanted to enjoy it and improve it. This volumn was a big help in that regard. The author includes many of the changes you may hear about and then he will let you know if they are really helpful for performance or not. It was a great source and very helpful in doing the things I wanted to do to the car so I could enjoy it and drive it often. I recommend the book.

If you buy this book you need a performance modification on your head. There is nothing in here that will help with performance. Every project states no real performance gain or n/a. I’m sure you don’t need a book to tell you to upgrade your audio system or replace your brake pads and rotors or what wax to buy please. I can not beleive this book was even aloud to be published. If I go on I will start using bad words so trust me save your money and watch a performance show on the speed channel. Enough said.
