My 14 year old GS is in great shape, just needs the power of new. Best price and just keeps getting better. Nothing can beat this car on the street. I don’t live at a rece track, get real and tell me why any other car is so much better.
@VolGreg For 2011, GM is adding 2 separate options for the ZO6. The ZO7 package is all the performance goodies of the ZR1(carbon ceramic brakes,bigger tires/rims and MRS) on a ZO6. There is another option package which is just a body package of the ZR1 on the ZO6, I forgot the package codename for it.
@19thaman79 that would be awsome i mean why not make it its own brand and besides only making one kind vette per couple of years come out with many at different price ranges just my opinion though
@sasuke412355 lol maybe in ur opinion personally i love the looks of vettes its actually my favorite supercar besides the new one-77 that just came out. so if you like bmw’s thats cool but i know from my standpoint i hardly notice bmws but always seem to notice vettes. bmw’s to me r like mustangs, there’s 10 on evry block n you kinda just stop caring or even give them a second glance.

@sasuke412355 BMWs are not head turners by any means. I see more on the road in one day then I do Vettes in a week. I think what GM is trying to do is eventually set Corvette up for being its own brand much like Porsche.

It is said that it shaves about 3 seconds off the base ZO6 Laguna Seca lap time which should shave about 5 seconds off the Ring lap time as well.
@VolGreg sadly it wont turn heads yeah i like vettes but the problem is more people are turning heads for bmw than a corvette because corvette still looks like a regular corvette people we need a change in body style a huge change that still says hey this corvette but also im a beast
Wider stand, got that from the Pontiac Trans Am. It is ashame GM shuts down the Trans Am to saturate the streets with Vettes…Bring back the Trans Am

@2011mustang5O new stang 0-60 in like 4.3,GS can go 0-60 in like 3.9 seconds,not bad for a 54k car,the 48k has the same ls3 engine as well

the launch control only comes with the manual trans, for every corvette model.
this is an easy way to have a pretty corvette without having Z06 or ZR-1 money.
