There puting a natraully asperated engine against a supercharged engine in the mustang. The Vette still better here, but put the GT500 against the 2010 ZR1 Vette that is also supercharged. The 2010 ZR1 would make the 2010 GT500 it’s bitch.

@Triplethreat600 Because they stayed tried and true. No independent rear suspension, forced induction and bare knuckle styled handling. For me, if I were to dump that sort of money, it would be for the whine of the Shelby’s supercharger and just that…I could care less about its color, rims, interior, and whatever else in between.
So wait. Let me get this straight. Any other time when they’re comparing two cars, and one has obvious performance advantages, they ignore that for the ”vagina factor” which is basically what CD, MT and such calls the ”liveability factor”, i.e. if the car looks pretty, rides softly and has a nice interior. Any other time the car with the better numbers wouldn’t stand a chance…oh wait, that’s because its not a BMW.

the reason is, that ford does not put big enough tires on both of them. 315 on the back of the Shelby and 0-60 should be like 3.8sec range.
